Team Manager - Fostering

Salary: Up to £52.69 per hour
Location: Widnes

 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Team Manager to lead and inspire our Children's Fostering Teat Halton Council, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in our care.

In this pivotal role, you will provide strong leadership, supervision, and support to a dedicated team of social workers, fostering officers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Fostering Team to deliver high-quality services to children, young people, and foster carers.
  • Ensure all fostering placements are safe, stable, and meet the individual needs of each child.

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience in fostering, adoption, or children's services.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of fostering legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
