Domestic Assistant/Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Cleaners to join our care homes across Halton. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Ensure all areas are clean and tidy, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and feedback professionally.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Skills

• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
• Ability to drive or travel as required for different cleaning locations.
• Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
