Community Centre Assistant - Crow Wood Park
We are looking for dependable, proactive, and community-minded individuals to join our team as Key Holders at Halton's Community Centres. This is a casual role, meaning you have the freedom to choose shifts that work for your schedule.
Whether you're seeking part-time hours around other responsibilities or looking to pick up more regular shifts, this flexible role allows you to work mornings, afternoons, evenings-or a mix that suits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing community center's and responding to alarm callouts when required.
- Setting up rooms with tables, chairs, and equipment to prepare for events, classes, and activities.
- Maintaining cleanliness in rooms, toilets, and shared spaces to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Providing customer service by assisting visitors with enquiries, bookings, and general support.
- Carrying out safety and building checks, reporting faults or hazards, and complying with health and safety regulations including C.O.S.H.H.
- Completing administrative tasks, such as processing bookings, handling cash transactions, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Supporting emergency procedures, including understanding fire safety and evacuation protocols.
- Collaborating with colleagues or working independently depending on shift needs.
- Providing occasional catering support as required.
- Participating in training to build knowledge and confidence in the role.

- Willingness to maintain high standards in safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Previous experience in facilities, customer service, or community-based roles is an advantage but not essential.
